Bremex meets

Bremex weeks provide opportunities to learn and practise skills including:

  • Micro-navigation
  • Night navigation
  • Scrambling
  • Rock climbing
  • Wild camping
  • Winter skills.

This is usually done on a peer-to-peer basis, on the principle that all members, whether old or new, have something to offer and can learn from each other. We also occasionally hire qualified instructors, e.g. for teaching winter skills and winter scrambling, and subsiside the cost from club funds.

Most Bremex meets include hill walking and navigation.
