Attending a weekend meet

All our weekend meets are organised by club members. We aim to publicise them well in advance by emailing all our members. If you want to know more, please download the weekend details associated with each of the dates listed below.

  • 24th-27th Feb – winter walking and skills with accommodation in chalets at Inchree, near Fort William, Scotland – read the report
  • 5th-11th Mar – members attending snowshoeing course with Austrian Alpine Club – read the report
  • 24th-26th Mar – micro-navigation based at Capel Curig in Snowdonia – read the report
  • 21st-23rd Apr – navigation and hill walking based at campsite by Lake Coniston
  • 26th-29th May – backpacking from Dalwhinnie to Corrour in Scotland with two nights’ wild camping – read the report
  • 23rd-25th Jun – hill walking and rock climbing based at campsite at Kettlewell in the Yorkshire Dales – read the report
  • 21st-23rd Jul – scrambling in the Lake District based at campsite by Lake Coniston – read the report
  • 8th-10th Sep – ridge walking and scrambling based at bunkhouse in Kinlochleven, Scotland
  • 21st-28th Oct – members attending via ferrata trip in the Dolomites, Italian Alps
  • 17th-19th Nov – AGM weekend – social event with programme of activities including navigation and rock climbing, based in a bunkhouse at Edale in the Peak District
